Our mission can only be successful with the help of our community volunteers. We welcome anyone willing to offer their time to help others. There are several opportunities for volunteering at the center, which are detailed below.
This committee oversees the development of the Center by strengthening the connections with Peninsula faith communities, individual donors, and businesses. It coordinates all the special events such as the Annual Banquet and Benefit Auction.
This committee oversees the financial operations of the Center, develops the operating budget and presents it to the Board of Directors, and manages the endowment fund.
This committee oversees the Center's property and facilities.
This committee oversees the recruitment of board members, orientation of new board members, training of board members, and strategic planning.
The Board of Directors oversees the operations of the Center. The Board, as a whole and as individuals, is responsible for the fiscal well-being of the Center, reviewing and updating the Center’s vision and mission statements, developing a strategic plan, cultivating and obtaining financial support, setting policy, hiring and evaluating the executive director, acting as a liaison with the community, businesses, faith communities, and donors.
